We are a reputable Vinyl Signs & Graphics shop that is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive for the Seattle territory. This position’s primary focus is to create new business in core market segments such as: Transit, Media, Fleet, Event/Stadium, Architectural and Retail. Ideal candidates will be effective in finding opportunities that leverage our core capabilities, establish the business case, create a solution, propose the value of the solution and develop a rich customer relationship experience through strong project management skills and successful solution implementation.
Responsibilities:
1. Implementing a sales strategy and vision with the goal of exceeding the quota established for the territory.
2. Identifying qualified prospective customers for our offerings and creating on-the-spot demand for our products through relatable benefit stories and buying vision.
3. Becoming an integral, highly collaborative and productive team member assisting all personnel with insight and guidance.
4. Providing creative leadership and working as part of a sales team supported by the production team, design team and members of inside sales for quoting, order processing, and invoicing.

Job Posting: Inside Sales & Customer Service
We are looking for candidates who have solid Sales and Quoting skills. This is primarily an Inside Sales & Quoting position that requires extensive use of point-of-sale software to quickly create many custom sign quotes with accurate pricing. This position is a CUSTOMER SERVICE role and requires dealing with customers frequently over the phone and many times face-to-face. This is NOT a cold-calling position.
But, by networking with our existing customer base you are expected to do the following:
a. Generate customer referrals that lead to brand new qualified prospects & sales leads
b. Create account growth and demand for our product offerings
c. Develop, build and strengthen ongoing customer & prospect relationships
Generally, customers will come to you via email, phone or in-person and request a quote. You will then have to react quickly and create an accurately priced quote using the point-of-sale software. There is no preset pricing on any sign merchandise. In order to determine the price, you will have to configure a quote to match the customer's needs. Every customer has a unique situation. Some quotes are simple and take a few minutes to create and others are very complex and can take much longer because it might require you making manual pricing calculations or additional research by consulting with vendors and suppliers. This job requires proactive effort and analytical/math skills. The bottom line is, you quickly complete the quote and provide it back to the customer either by email or face-to-face. You will then make phone follow-ups to the customer to finalize the sale.
Dealing with customers efficiently and professionally both over the phone and in-person is a MUST. So before you apply, make sure you are well equipped in sales skill sets and personality to be happy with *frequent* quoting, phone calls (outbound and inbound) & customer walk-ins.
You will have regular sales meetings with your manager to measure your progress. Those sales meetings will be driven by a hardcopy computer report that will show your individual progress. If your progress is low, then that report will reveal low performance and you will feel pressure from your manager.
The work consists of the following three (3) items:
1. Sitting down in front of a computer creating quotes and performing phone follow-ups (as high as 90% of the time; on average 60% to 70% of the time).
2. Some standing or varied work doing one or more of the following as needed (on average 30% to 40% of the time):
a. Dealing with walk-in customers
b. Taking measurements of customer vehicles
c. Performing customer site visits to take measurements and pictures
3. Other work as prescribed by the manager (this can be and is not limited to administrative or accounting work)
Individuals must be positive with a "CAN DO IT ALL" personality and who have a high degree of "LET'S GET IT DONE" attitude. This type of individual prefers to get everything done today and does not wait for tomorrow. The word "no" is NOT part of this person's vocabulary. This is a customer facing role and so the candidate MUST be an outgoing people person.
Candidates MUST have experience with:
1. Sales & Quoting and frequent phone follow ups
2. Dealing with customers face-to-face while exuding a professional attitude and courteous nature
3. Ensuring that when several customers arrive simultaneously, each is greeted, prioritized and receive their turn efficiently
4. Offers suggestions that help guide customers to purchasing decisions

Candidates MUST have experience with:
- Adobe CS4 - mainly Illustrator & Photoshop
- Dealing with different file formats such as PDF, Vector or TIFF
- Outputting files to the printer
- Onyx Ripping software
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Great spelling and proof reading
- Excellent planning skills, setting up jobs and installs (including wraps)
